Miss Sipes confronted Becka in class today regarding Becka taking pictures with her cell phone. I wrote an office referral but after class Becka and Miss Sipes and I agreed that I would contact you by email. Becka has so much promise! She is wasting so much opportunity. I can only evaluate her as a total person within the structure of the 55 minute class period. I am sending her home tomorrow night with a book and a study guide and she is taking a 40 item 40 point quiz Friday covering Units 4 and 5 Vocabulary Workshop. I will continue to expect improvement from Becka until her performance matches her potential.

Five passengers drowned and about 15 still remain missing after the Italian ship with some 4,200 people on board ran aground. The Costa Concordia was on a trip around the Mediterranean when it apparently hit a reef near the island of Giglio on Friday, only a few hours into its voyage, as passengers were sitting down for dinner.
